Introduction About Cyborg 15

I bought you a sci-fi laptop, it’s called Cyborg 15. This is a gaming laptop from MSI and it has some unique features. This is probably one of the most unique and best-looking gaming laptops out there. I am going to tell you everything about this laptop. On the heavier side, this is clearly a gaming laptop.

Let’s reveal the look! If this font is related to a superhero, please let us know in the comments. And look at this design, it is translucent and you can see the things inside. It has air vents and these are speaker grills. It has a honeycomb design, it looks good from the back,

Let’s see how it looks from the front. Well, it’s plain and has the MSI logo.

If I talk about weight, it is around 2KG, this is 2KG Cyborg 15. And if I talk about ports and buttons, on the left side there is a Kensington lock, a USB Type-A port, and a 3.5mm jack.

There are vents on the back and an RJ45 port on the right side. It has a full HDMI port, a USB Type-C port, and a USB Type-A port. And I think it’s the charging port. So it has one Type C port, 2 Type-A ports, one full HDMI port, and one RJ45 port.

Then you will get everything! The WASD keys are translucent and the font is different. It looks futuristic and science-fiction. It says Cyborg 15 A12V. There are lots of stickers and also the MSI logo. It’s a full-sized keyboard and also has a number pad. They look nice and I really like the keyboard. I would say this keyboard is great. Even the touchpad is of average size and quite large. The keyboard is backlit with only one color, I think it’s blue. You can increase the brightness up to 3 steps.

Display It is a 15.6” FHD display with a 144Hz fast refresh rate. The display is matte and not reflective. It’s appropriately bright for indoors. Specs: Its base variant is i5 but it comes with a 4000 series RTX graphics card. It also comes in an i5 variant with 4050.

Storage in the base variant is 512GB with M.2 SSD. It also comes with an i7 variant. It has 16GB of onboard RAM but you do get an extra slot. You can expand the RAM up to 64GB with 2 slots of 32GB and 32GB each. Core i5 and i7 are 12th-generation processors. Build quality: It is plastic but it is very well made. It feels like a sturdy laptop when you hold it. The lid is metal and the rest is hard plastic. It is translucent and looks good.

Gaming performance is excellent. We played Destiny 2, Fortnite, and GTA on it. We got a consistent 60-70 FPS. It seems to stutter a bit in ray tracing but in general gaming it is fine. Thanks to the 4000 series graphics cards. If you play Valorant which is a little less demanding, it can go up to 200 FPS. 60-70 fps and in normal games like heavy games you can go up to 200 fps. So the gaming performance is definitely very good.

Battery: It has a 53.5Wh battery which will definitely give you a backup of 3.5 hours. By the way, when you’re gaming, connect a power cord. 120W, 150W, and 200W power adapters are now available on the phone. So it should have been a 230-240W charger. Thermals are very important in a gaming laptop. It has a dashboard called MSI Center where you can create different profiles. If you play in performance mode, it will definitely give you full performance. The fans are good thermally but the fans are loud. Multimedia It has a large display with thin bezels. It has 2.2W audio speakers which are quite loud. You will enjoy watching movies and Netflix indoors. Audio There is an audio center where you can create different profiles. You can create the sound you want. It has a 180-degree open lid. If you are watching 2 movies at the same time, 2 people can listen to the audio at the same time. It has a 720p camera for Zoom calls. It has 2 microphones for audio and a status LED.
